The purpose of this workshop is to inform early childhood educators of their role in observing documenting and reporting each child’s growth and development. This training is part of a series of training that focuses on planning, assessing and individualizing childcare experiences.
The objective of this training is to help educators understand their role in collecting data; participants will design their observation toolkit using checklist, note-taking and assessment forms.
The second training objective is creating individualized learning and accommodations within curriculum plans to help meet the developmental needs of all children; educators will use a weekly and individualized child planning form to plan a learning environment to facilitate learning and development. The third objective educators will be able to use the reporting system to inform the child progress and collaborate with others.
