This series of workshops assist to improve teaching practices; centered around curriculum, planning, teaching methodologies,  and promoting progressive skills and competencies. Directors and teaching staff will be guided to understand the foundations of curriculum models. During the sessions, we will engage in small groups, teamwork, planning groups, projects, and large group interactions.

 

To identify and outline the foundation and format of curriculum models. Describe the steps to enhance the curriculum process, list the part of curriculum planning, and the function of each area in supporting learning outcomes. Describe adult-child interactions that support the teaching process. Build a home to school connection. To demonstrate active learning routines and to connect developmental goals to activities curriculum Review the benefits of child-centered engagements, team planning, play routines, and observing child development.

  • To state how educators, use a formal curriculum model that is founded in best practices.
  • To create a plan to teach skills that are in alignment with progressive learning and support the overall growth and development of young children.
  • To reflect on how teaching with intention can support the learning process.
  • To practice and design a plan match activity and to build skills and competencies that promote effective teaching practices.
  • Create a curriculum format for teaching young children.
